Texas 2x2 Reading Program

What are Texas 2x2 Books?
Each year twenty books are selected by the Texas 2x2 Committee which is a division of the Children's Roundtable of the Texas Library Association to be on the Texas 2x2 Reading List. The committee selects twenty books that they recommend for children ages two to second grade. Librarians, teachers, and parents can suggest titles for inclusion on this list but for a book to be considered it must meet the following criteria:
-You must have read the book.
-The content of the book must be age appropriate for children two years through grade two.
-The copyright date must be 2017 for the 2018 list.
-Only book formats are eligible.
-The book must have an English text, but dual language and translations will be considered.
-The book must have received a favorable review in a reviewing source.
