Pumpkin Extravaganza

Woohoo! 

It is that time of year, time to get creative and turn and ordinary pumpkin into your favorite book character!

We want to see what you can do with a little bit of paint, yarn, fabric, glitter, and some imagination.

Rules:

• 1 pumpkin per family
• we will only accept pumpkins decorated as a book character
• no carving allowed
• each pumpkin must have an entry card
• the entire family is encouraged to participate together
• pumpkins must be picked up by 4:00 pm - October 31st

Tags will be given out to each SSE student that participates-

 

**Pumpkin Extravaganza spirit sticks have been ordered but will come in after this event, we will have a trade day for students to come in and trade their tag for a spirit stick if they would like to.

Author Steve Swinburne visits SSE this Wednesday!

Non-fiction author, Steve Swinburne, will be visiting SSE students in 3rd-5th grades this Wednesday!

All for Books

All for Books was a huge success!  Stanley Elementary raised over $700 for our Sister School- Rhoads Elementary!  Way to pay it forward.... thank you, thank you, thank you!  Books are being delivered this next week.

9/10- Wednesday- 8:30-12 pm: Last minute purchases

During the book fair week, we will be collecting money that will be used to buy books for our Sister School- Rhoads Elementary!    If you would like to donate, please fill out this form and bring to the library.  Teachers have a chance to win a basket of books for their own classroom- the more donation slips from their students the higher chance they have of

winning!
